The comprehensive inspection takes 3-4 hours. Our clients are strongly encouraged to be at the entire inspection. Inspectors in Colorado aren’t licensed or regulated. About 25 States currently require licensing. To received a license these states require inspectors to pass The National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE). ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) certified members must not only pass the NHIE but also complete 250 inspections audited by ASHI. Don't get short changed ASHI members are the PHD's of inspectors. No “Limit of Liability” / “Hold Harmless” contracts to sign. Homespeck doesn’t force you to give up legal rights. These contracts are used to protect incompetent inspectors, short/partial inspections and Realtor/Buddy Inspectors. . No Conflict of Interest with Homespeck. “READ” (Real Estate Agent Dependant) Inspectors are loyal to the Realtors from whom they get most of their business. Certifications :
The ASHI(American Society Of Home Inspectors)certification is the only certification that requires passing the NHIE(The National Home Inspector Exam). The NHIE is required by most all the 35 States that require a license. An engineer, plumber, electrician,or contractor does not qualify one, to be an inspector in States that require passing the NHIE. Engineering, plumbing, and contacting licensing does not require the forensic skills that are tested by the NHIE.The NHIE tests a candidates ability to discover forensic electro mechanical problems. There are only Approx. 50 ASHI certified inspectors in Denver, ie. it's a difficult test to pass! PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED BY COPY CAT INSPECTION CERTIFICATIONS
