We had our inspection with Chris and he was there before we even got there already starting on the inspection. He allowed us to be there beside him when he was doing his inspection. He was very friendly and professional. He explained in detail any issues we had with our house and gave us home improvement ideas that wouldn't cost us an arm and leg. He gave us a list of people he recommends for home improvements. When we left our inspection we felt thouroughly informed and comfortable with our home. Thank you Chris!!!

Advice on special conditions
My wife and I used Home Spy Inspections as recommended by our real estate broker in Denver, CO, and were very, very satisfied with their work. We are moving to Denver from the Los Angeles area, so we really needed advice as to the special conditions in Denver with respect to the hom we purchased. We have had much experience with home inspectors in our many moves. We can say unequivocally that Chris Anderson has been the most helpful of any. He doesn't miss anything! On the other hand, I can say that he lets the potential buyer know what are the most important problems observed and what the buyer should do as a homeowner in Denver. Generally, there are no basements in Southern California, and Chris advised us of the special circumstances and maintenance required for basements. He made a succinct list of problems for our Seller (who is the builder of the 2006 home), in the form of a punchlist, and the Seller took care of anything. I'm sure the form of the list, as well as the clear description of the items, had a lot to do with the way things turned out. On our home in California, the Buyers' inspector charged about double what Chris charges for much less time and, as I've found many other inspectors do,"found" problems that didn't really exist. I would recommend Home Spy Inspections to anyone buying a home in the Denver area.

If you want the best home inspection - this is it
HomeSpy was recommended by a friend, but he warned me it wouldn't be cheap. Hey, I'm buying a home, I wanted the job done right even if it cost a bit more. Appointment was for 1 p.m. - I arrived on time, but inspector Chris was already there on the roof several steps into the inspection. His detail of inspection and willingness to answer my questions through four hours of probing throughout the two story townhome with full basement was well worth the money. He found several things that needed to be fixed before closing. He finished the Radon test in the basement as well several days later complete with lab test results.
Pros:If you want it done right, Chris and HomeSpy is the answer.

Awesome home inspection
We wanted a thorough home inspection so that we wouldn't get surprised by anything with the home we were about to purchase. We got that with HomeSpy Inspections. Chris was very thorough. He also did an excellent walk through explaining all the negative and positives that he found in the home. He also went the extra mile by explaining how we can continue to keep the home 'healthy' (ie- how to take care of the sprinkler system, etc). His written report was outstanding. It even included pictures. I will be referring him to anyone I know that needs a home inspection. Thank you Chris!

Home inspection
I am in the process of purchasing my second home after 37 years. My real estate agent suggested I get a home inspection and I called HomeSpy Property Inspections. The gentleman they sent (Chris) was wonderful. Not only was the inspection complete but he invited us to travel through the entire house, explaining what he was looking for, it's good points and it's deficiencies. The depth of his recomendations covered everything from the items that required a professional, whether it be an electrician, plumber, local handiman, or something that we could easily do ourselves. The written report was detailed, broken into significant issues and inportant information and notable issues, making it easy to determine which issues needed to be addressed first and what could be postponed until better weather. I would definately recommend this company to anyone buying a property.
