I called hoping to get someone over to look at my problem and they sent Kyle over in an HOUR! He arrived, evaluated the issue and solved it the same day! Being that the leaking pipe was in the wall, I thought he would take a look at it and then come back, but he finished it in about 2.5 hours, I wasn’t expecting it done so fast!. He was very professional and did his job well. I will be calling Quality again. Thanks for the help and putting my mind at ease!! We received quality work at a reasonable price.

Dear Howie, I am writing to let you know how much I appreciate what you did for me in a time of great need. I was on vacation in Wisconsin for my aunts wedding and I received a call from my renter stating that he could not turn off the water valve in the bathroom to the shower. Water was rushing out he had tried to turn off the valve and it would not turn off. I was frantic! My mom said to call Quality 1st Plumbing, and I am so glad I did! They were at my condo in less than an hour to fix the problem. I was very worried that it might be a difficult repair since we had had it fixed about 2 years ago and the shower had old parts that were hard to find. The service tech was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Quality 1st plumbing certainly knows what they are doing! They really take care of their customers and it really shows. As a Real Estate investor who owns investment property, I have many calls from tenants who will have certain issues. Some issues are easily addressed via various approaches and other require specific knowledge about the issue. Specifically, I had an issue where a rental property had a severe drainage issue on the exterior of the home at the main drainage pipe. Quality 1st Plumbing was notified and fixed the issue quickly, in a professional manner and this drainage issue has not returned. They diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed it promptly. I can attest that Quality 1st Plumbing is a great organization to contact for a wide range of plumbing issues.

Professional, timely, friendly, caring, honest... these are just a few things that you will get from "MY Plumber." I have a hard time referring anyone or any business because I am not willing to trust my name to their work. Not with Howie and his team at Quality First... I hand out his cards and suggest his services to everyone I talk to in need of a good plumbing company. I feel confident that the referral will not come back and haunt me. They are willing to look at any job... if it is something they are unable to do right... they will let you know and refer you to a company that can do it. I feel like no job is too big or to small for them.

Howie and I had only met once and right away I knew I could trust him indefinitely. I immediately referred a friend of mine who needed a sprinkler system re-worked. Within hours, he was able to take care of her needs and she was over the moon on his timeliness and quality of work. I would refer Howie and 1st Quality Plumbing any day! I recently purchased a new home; new to me anyhow. It was one of those "interesting" foreclosures. We had a few "little" plumbing issues. Aaron came out and was very polite and respectful of our home. He took care of everything for us and we were very pleased with the sevice we received. I was very impressed with the level of customer service and the fact they called to make sure we were home and ready before he showed up at our door. I will refer Quality 1st Plumbing to all my friends and family.

I have work with Howie for years and there has not been one occasion where he or Quality 1st Plumbing has not done a terrific job on any schedule repairs or after hours call. Besides working with Howie, recently I have repairs done by Quality 1st Plumbing at my residence. Everything that was done by Howie and his crew was fantastic. Everything was handled so professionally. You guys went above and beyond to find what the plumbing problem was at my home and was taken care of.

“Excellent company. I’ve dealt with the owner, a technician and the office staff. I found them all to be very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner was very patient and spent more time on the phone than he should have helping me trouble shot my plumbing problem. The technician called to confirm what time he would be at my house and showed up exactly on time. He was polite and clean (not just his appearance, but he cleaned up the whole area he was working on!) They are the only plumbing company we will ever use!

The plumber was excellent and I'm very pleased with the work. Mostly I'm confident that we won't have any sewer backups for awhile. But having the clean out is probably something we need to do, maybe in 6 months? Let me know what you will charge and I'll see when I can work it into the budget..

I called with a question about my pressure tank. I spoke with Howie who was absolutely wonderful. He told me he doesn't work with well systems so couldn't tell me if the price quote I received was fair, but did direct me to places to find replacement tanks and a quick run through of installing. If I have a problem that is NOT well-related I will definitely call Howie again!

First of all I want to compliment your crew and the job. Both were excellent. I have a meeting with the Farmer’s adjustor at 3 today. I may refer her once again to you for any further details she may need now that the job has been done. My insurance agent said to go through the normal channels first and if that doesn’t go my way he will step in and try and help. He did also say “normal wear and tear” are the words of doom so I hope it doesn’t come down to that as a reason for this catastrophe. Thanks again for a job well done.

Thanks for everything. Its not easy writing thanks after throwing so much money into the dirt, but I really am very appreciative to have had your team on board to fix everything. Everyone of your field guys were impeccably professional. Every last one of them. They were all really easy to work with. This whole mess could have been really bad for us, but they really made it all easy. No mess, no fuss. They were in and got it done and closed up and that was it. I visited the site twice during the day. The hole was much smaller than I thought. They managed to get the pipe into a small, cramped space. At the end of the day, they showed me the work in the basement. It all looked good to me. So I am really appreciative. You took all of the headache out so that the only bummer was the cost, which always is high when dealing with sewer lines. I was able to focus on work yesterday because everyone had everything under control at all times. I have had a good idea for some time that there was a problem with the connection back to the house, so while it wasn't what I wanted to have happen, I have expected this for some time. Now the up side is that its fixed. We'll pass your name around to all who ask for a plumber... and will call again whenever we have an need.

After looking around for a plumber and having them give me opinions and costs, we called Quality 1st Plumbing. They actually answered the phone. I was able to ask all the questions I wanted and when they came to my house they came up with the solution. All the others wanted to sell me something. Quality 1st just told me what I needed and how much it would cost. The price I paid was actually $15.00 less than the quote because they didn't need a part and even though they could have charged for it they didn't. If you need to find a plumber you can trust call Quality 1st.
Pros:VERY honest. On time. Clean. They answer questions and made me feel very comfotable.

I had the main line infront of my home spring a leak. It's a very old home and we noticed water pushing thru the pores of the basement wall (its concrete) so we knew we had a problem. we had the water company come turn off the water and started a search for a Plumbing company that would do a Great job and was fairly priced, I had 3 estimates as suggested by several people. Quality wasn't the cheapest but they were by far the quickest and put us at ease right away,and the fact they have Great testimonials was a plus as well. My main sewer line to the street broke on Jan 4th in a big snowstorm. The crew from Quality showed up first thing in the morning on the 5th and found the break near the street. They helped me with a lot of ideas on how to same time and money. By noon on January 6th at -12F these guys had the pipe repaired and had me as a happy customer for life.

Quality 1st Plumbing has done work for me at 2 of my rental houses on 3 occassions now and I have been completely satified with the pricing, professionalism, promptness and overall service. I was referred to Howie Metz and Quality 1st Plumbing by the Troubleshooter crew while calling in about a plumbing problem I was have at one of my rental properties. Another plumbing company was quoting me $1200 to re-do some work that this other company was not able to fix the first time around. Howie completed the work the same day for a fraction of what the other company was going to charge me. Thanks to Howie and Quality First Plumbing!

howie from quality first plumbing recently installed a 350 pound cast iron tub in a bathroom i'm remodelling. this was a very difficult job but was done on time, on budget, and no complaining. i had two other plumbers look at the job and said it was to difficult and walls would have to be removed to fit the tub in. very impressed with quality first plumbings work ethic!!!

I heard water running in our pipes the evening of December 17. Thinking that was odd since I wasn't using any water at the time, I ran downstairs toward the main shutoff valve. After turning the valve, I found water covering the basement floor and the sound of dripping behind the wall. I found Quality First on the referral list and called Howie. He was very pleasant and understanding. He set an appointment for 8:30 the next morning. His man called en route and arrived when promised. We received a reasonable estimate and work was completed within 2 hours.

I had a sewer back up and called Quality Plumbing & Repair on Sunday night. On Monday morning, as promised, someone was at my door to snake the system. Unfortunately, it was much more involved than originally thought. Howie scheduled a pipe repair for the next day and by 7:00 the next evening I had a useable system. Howie understood the need for prompt action and, instead of potentially leaving me without the ability to stay in my home for an extended period of time, ensured I was able to use my system very quickly. He explained the process and made sure I was comfortable with all aspects of the project. I am very satisfied with the results and how I was treated by his team. Howie's responsiveness is impressive.

I heard Howie from Quality First Plumbing talking about a “Smoking Deal” on hot water heaters on Tom’s show. I called Howie and ordered a hot water heater. I was delighted by the excellent installation and service – they came on time, cleaned up completely, and everything worked perfectly.
