AVOID this company. Lakewood plumbing could not find the issue after 2 visits and 2 different plumbers. The 2nd plumber, Matt, was very dismissive and rude. Carson Wells of Quality First Services then came to our condo to diagnose and repair a water leak from the unit above ours. He very quickly found the source of the leak and repaired it in the same visit. He was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.

Misdiagnosis and Frustration
Due to an extremely poor diagnosis of a leak in the ceiling of the unit below ours, we ended up cutting holes in our bathroom drywall to repair a t-joint to our bathroom sink only to have the major cause of the leak not be identified (a pinhole in a water line far away from the drain) leading to a continued leak into the ceiling of the unit below. There was apparently a small leak coming off the drain from our bathroom vanity, but that could never have been the cause of all the water logged drywall. Q 1st offered to work with us on our bill, but eventually refused. Would not recommend.

Last night was cold out there and my unit and whole apartment’s turned off the water because water pipe was frozen. We called Quality First Plumbing service. I really appreciate your quick professional services. Brad you’re the number one. Thanks a lot!!!

Had my water main freeze due to cold weather and Zach and Brad came to help thaw me out. Zach is a dedicated employee and stayed until 8pm on 1/30 doing everything he could to help me. Both gentlemen were courteous and professional. I would recommend Quality 1st for your plumbing needs

Need a Plumber, call Quality First
We have had Quality First Plumbing out to our home 2 times in the last 3 years, both times we were very pleased with the work and price. Ray Massey came out yesterday to replace an outside water faucet that had problems. Ray was very courteous, knowledgeable and explained our problem and the different fixes before fixing the problem. This company if first class and stands behind their work. Emily was our dispatcher and kept us up to date on Ray's arrival. We mhave had 2 great experiences with this company and there is no reason to believe that the 3rd will be any different. Jim Wilson

I greatly appreciated the service I received yesterday from Quality 1st Plumbing & Heating. Snow storm just starting and I came home to no heat. Dorretie the dispatcher assured me she Would have a service technician here As quickly as possible. She did and Austin arrived, and diagnosed the furnace problem. He explained to me what was wrong and had the parts with him to fix it. He was knowledgeable, professional And worked efficiently. It meant a lot to me to know that Quality 1st was there to help me during this emergency.

What Happened?
Nice people, and there prices used to be reasonable. Something has definitely changed. Of 7 quotes to replace my AC they were by far the highest. And just so were comparing apples to apples, they quoted me $4,000 more than another company for the EXACT same unit (same brand, size, warranty, etc.), and yes, the other company is on the Referral List as well. I have no doubt they do good work, but get more estimates before proceeding.
